Okonavank Church. Okonavank, also known as Okonakhach Church, is an Armenian Apostolic church built in 1863 in the picturesque village of Yenokavan in Tavush Province, near the upper part of the Khachaghbyur gorge. Little is known about the church’s history, but a winged khachkar dating from the 12th–13th centuries stands in front of the building.
