Samsonavank Monastery. Samsonavank Monastery was founded in the 12th–13th centuries in Tavush Province in northern Armenia. Reached via Yenokavan, it is a small complex in a wooded setting on a mountainside. The monastery stands about six kilometres south of the 13th-century Deghdznut Monastery and not far from the medieval Berdakar fortress.
