Okuzlu Archaeological Site

Okuzlu is an ancient archaeological site located in the Mersin Province of Turkey. This site is situated in the rural area of the Erdemli district and is known for its numerous archaeological ruins. Around Okuzlu, many interesting attractions can be seen, such as Kanlıdivane, Elaussa Sebaste, Emirzeli, and the ruins of Tapureli. It is only 12 kilometers from Okuzlu to the coastal town of Ayaş via the Turkish state highway D.400. Okuzlu can also be reached from Limonlu (ancient Lamos). The distance to Erdemli is 30 kilometers, and to Mersin is 67 kilometers.
