Old Park

Old Park in Kabardinka brings different eras and continents together in one place. More than twenty themed zones recreate ancient temples, Gothic cathedrals, Eastern palaces and Japanese gardens with ponds and pagodas. Visitors can explore the Houses of the East and the Caucasus, view artefacts, traditional objects and weapons, and visit a mineralogy museum with fossils and ammonites. Exhibitions, concerts and children’s celebrations make the park a meeting point between history and entertainment.

Every sculpture and building in Old Park has its own story. One of the most unusual exhibits is the Stone of Eternity, also called the Stone of Oaths. Handprints appear on a pedestal pierced by an opening. According to tradition, mountain people once made unbreakable promises here, and couples still stand on opposite sides of the stone to exchange vows, believing the inscription—“The Stone of Eternity hears you and keeps what is spoken”—will preserve their words forever.
