Sait Faik Abasıyanık Museum

The Sait Faik Abasıyanık House-Museum is located in Adapazarı and is a place where you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of his life and work. The museum displays not only the writer's furnishings, personal belongings, letters, and photographs, but also provides insight into his contribution to Turkish literature.

Sait Faik Abasıyanık was born in 1906 and became one of the key figures in the literature of his era. Traveling through various European countries, he spent 3 years in France, which greatly influenced his writing. After returning to Turkey, he often stayed in his mansion in Şişli during both winter and summer, where he passed away in 1954.

This house-museum has become not only a place of remembrance for the great writer but also a unique opportunity to delve into the history and culture of Turkey at that time.
