Sheki Fortress

Sheki Fortress, formerly known as Nukha Fortress, is a historical complex in the city of Sheki, located in the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the Encyclopedia, the Palace of the Sheki Khans and the fortress were built in 1765. The complex included several buildings, but only the two-story palace has survived to this day.

After the Sheki Khanate was annexed to the Russian Empire, the palace came under the administration of the local authorities and underwent several repairs.
