Balakən Juma Mosque

The Balakən Juma Mosque, also known as the Balakən Friday Mosque, is one of the historical monuments of the city of Balakən in Azerbaijan. This building has been recognized by the state as an important architectural monument of the country's history and culture. Several inscriptions (kitabe) can be seen on the facade of the mosque, one of which indicates the period of construction of the mosque from 1867 to 1877. Other inscriptions contain the names of people who contributed to the construction of this remarkable structure.
