Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque. The Sokollu Mehmed Pasha Mosque, also known as the Köprübaşı Mosque, is a historical monument in Istanbul, Turkey. These ruins belong to a 16th-century Ottoman mosque built in a rural area that is now a district of the city. This temple was created by the great architect Mimar Sinan for the vizier Sokollu Mehmed Pasha in 1567. It is one of three mosques with this name built by the great architect in Istanbul.
