The Beatles Monument

On May 15, 2007, a monument to the legendary English rock band The Beatles was erected on Kok-Tobe mountain in Almaty. This monument, made of bronze by sculptor Eduard Kazaryan, depicts Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison standing, and John Lennon sitting with a guitar in his hands. Visitors can sit next to the statue and take a photo with it. The Beatles' songs are constantly playing from speakers, creating a special atmosphere around the monument. This monument has become popular among tourists and locals visiting the "Kok Tobe Park" entertainment center. The installation of the monument was agreed upon with the rights holders of "The Beatles" brand, and permissions were obtained from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
