Vashlovani Reserve

Vashlovani Reserve (Vashlovani State Reserve) is located in a mountainous area on Shiraki Street and on the bank of the Alazani River in the Dedoplistskaro municipality, Kakheti, Georgia. This protected area extends at an altitude of 300 to 600 meters above sea level and covers a total area of 10,143 hectares, including 4,032 hectares of forests, as well as fields, deserts, and ravines.

The purpose of the reserve is not only to protect and preserve rare species of forest flora and fauna but also to conduct scientific research, educational programs, and environmental education. Here, one can observe unique ecosystems and animal species that require special protection and attention. Vashlovani Reserve is an important place for the conservation of Georgia's biodiversity and natural resources.
