Abano Pass

Abano Pass is a mountain pass in Georgia, located at an altitude of 2826 meters. This pass is one of the highest passable mountain passes in the Caucasus. It connects two regions of Georgia - Kakheti in the south and Tusheti in the north. Due to its high altitude and snowy winters, the pass is closed from mid-October to mid-June, depending on the amount of snow and road conditions. Only vehicles with selectable four-wheel drive can travel the road through the pass.
