Aghjots Monastery. Aghjots Monastery, also known as Saint Stephen’s Monastery, was built in the 13th century near Garni, Armenia. It stands beside a tributary of the Azat River within the Khosrov Reserve, close to the former settlement of Mets Gilanlar in Ararat Province. Kakavaberd Fortress and the Havuts Tar monastic complex are also located in this scenic area, making it a popular destination for visitors and pilgrims.
