Al Fahidi Fort Museum

Al Fahidi Fort is a historic structure located in the center of Dubai, UAE. The first fortifications in this area were built in 1799, and the fort in its current form was erected in 1878. It is situated on the banks of the Persian Gulf between the districts of Ali bin Talib and Al Fahidi Road. Al Fahidi Fort is the oldest surviving building in Dubai and has a rich history of use. In the past, it was used to defend the city from attacks and as a state prison.
