Ataturk Cultural Center

The Atatürk Cultural Center (Turkish: Atatürk Kültür Merkezi; AKM) in Istanbul was located on Taksim Square and was one of the city's most famous buildings. It was not only a multifunctional cultural center and opera house, but also symbolized Istanbul's rich cultural heritage.
