Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa

The Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa is a historic site in Polonezköy, located in the Beykoz district of Istanbul. Originally, the Church of St. Anne was built in this area in 1842. However, after its destruction during the Great Istanbul Earthquake of 1894, a new sanctuary was erected in 1914 in honor of the Virgin Mary of Częstochowa. The new church became a symbol of hope and faith for the local community and continues to attract pilgrims and tourists to this day with its beauty and spiritual significance.
