The Floating Bridge in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was created as an innovative solution to reduce traffic congestion on the Al Garhoud and Al Maktoum bridges. This unique project became the first of its kind in the region and is the fifth crossing over Dubai Creek, complementing other infrastructure facilities such as the Al Shindagha Tunnel, Al Maktoum Bridge, Al Garhoud Bridge, Infinity Bridge, and Business Bay Crossing.
