Hovhannes Shiraz House Museum

The Hovhannes Shiraz House Museum was founded in 1983 in Gyumri’s historic Kumayri district and opened to visitors in 2003. It is devoted to collecting and preserving the personal belongings, manuscripts and literary heritage of the celebrated Armenian poet Hovhannes Shiraz. Its displays allow visitors to enter the poet’s world and gain a closer understanding of his life and work.
