Saint Arseny Church. Saint Arseny is a Russian church in Gyumri, Armenia, located on the grounds of a former Cossack post. It is the largest Russian church in the country. Named after Saint Arseny, Archbishop of Serbia, it was built in the 1870s and consecrated in 1910. The church has two principal domes: a conical one above the bell tower, reflecting Armenian architectural traditions, and another with an onion-shaped profile. These unusual elements give the building its distinctive appearance.
