Monument to the IL-2 Attack Aircraft. Opened in 1974, this monument is dedicated to the memory of the attack aircraft crew who participated in combat operations in the Black Sea. The aircraft, recovered from the seabed, was used during an important mission in which V.F. Kuznetsov and A.V. Reshetinsky perished. They were buried in a mass grave next to the monument-aircraft. The area around the monument is kept clean and tidy to preserve the memory of the crew's heroic deeds.
