Samson Bridge. Samson Bridge is an old stone bridge across the Karahan River near the village of Kirants in Armenia’s Tavush Province. A settlement known as Kunen, once an important local centre, formerly occupied the area before its population moved elsewhere in the Kirants valley near Arakelots Monastery. The bridge, also known as Sanots Bridge, links the two parts of the former settlement. Its broad stone arches survive, while ruins of the ancient settlement remain visible on the right bank.
