Sheikh Suleiman Mosque

Sheikh Suleiman Mosque, also known as Sheikh Suleiman Meskidi, was built on the site of a former Byzantine building that was once part of the Eastern Orthodox Pantokrator Monastery in Istanbul. The use of this building during the Byzantine era remains a mystery. Despite its small size, the mosque is an interesting example of Middle Byzantine architecture in Constantinople.
