Surp Khripsimian Armenian Church

This is an Armenian church that was built and consecrated for worship by brothers Kevork and Garabed Karakhekhya in 1848. In 1886, it was rebuilt from stonework for 15,000 kuruş. In 1894, the church was damaged by an earthquake but was repaired by Apraham Pasha Yeremyan in 1927, when the bell tower was also built. The church underwent repairs at various times, the last of which was carried out with the support of the Kupelyan family.
