Mangants Armenian Church. According to the Boğaziçi Yearbook, published by Şirket-i Hayriye in 1914, the village of Boyacıköy housed 350 Greek, 50 Armenian, and 30 Muslim families. Additionally, the village contained Greek and Armenian churches, as well as schools. The Surp Yerits Mangants Church was built by Misak Amir Misakyan around 1840 in memory of his father Bedros Amir Misakyan from Eğin. Later, the wooden church was replaced by a stone one and opened for worship on September 8, 1885.
