Ali Pasa Mosque

Ali Pasa Mosque is a historical building located on Sahilyolu Street, 16, in the Rumelihisarı neighborhood of the Sarıyer district in Istanbul. This mosque was built during the Ottoman Empire and is also known as the Hamam Mosque. It was built by the famous Turkish navigator Süleyman Ali Bey, known as Pertek. The exact construction date is unknown due to the absence of an original inscription, but the mosque was renovated in 1763. After being closed in 1937 due to dilapidation, the mosque was restored and reopened in 1960.
