St. Mary Armenian Church

The Armenian Church in Turkey is located in the Yeniköy neighborhood of the Sarıyer district of Istanbul province. It was built in 1794 and later restored and transferred to the Armenian Patriarch of Bursa III. In 1834, the church was opened for worship by Istefanos Aghavni. In 2006, the church was restored and consecrated by Patriarch John II, after which it was opened for worship by Mesrob.
