Tahtakale Bath Hamam

Tahtakale Bath was built during the reign of Mehmed the Conqueror in the 1460s and was attached to the Fatih Mosque. The income from visiting the bath went to support the Fatih Mosque and madrasah. The bath had two sections - for men and women. Unfortunately, the women's section was abandoned and became a thing of the past. The legend of the infatuation with the girl mentioned in the article still lives in the memory of this bath. The men's section, with its four floors, still amazes with its magnificence.
