Tsaghkadzor Resort

Tsaghkadzor is Armenia's main ski resort, only an hour from Yerevan. In winter, visitors ski on 15 runs of varying difficulty, the longest extending for eight kilometers. The highest point is 2,819 meters, with a vertical drop of almost 900 meters. For most of the season, from December through April, the weather is sunny and temperatures stay around −5°C. A modern Leitner cableway operates alongside equipment rental and a rescue service. After skiing, visitors relax in bars, restaurants, or saunas; in summer, they come for mountain walks, ziplining, and panoramic views from Mount Teghenis.
