Alanya Resort

Alanya is an excellent choice for a family holiday in Turkey and has long been popular with travellers visiting with children. From June to October the sea is warm, rain is uncommon and prices are relatively affordable, allowing families to enjoy a seaside break without excessive expense.

Alanya’s municipal beach has a gentle entry into the water, although many visitors prefer the sand-and-pebble Cleopatra Beach on the opposite side of the mountain ridge that divides the resort. Near Damlataş Cave, visitors can swim in exceptionally clear water and explore the famous cave with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Its air is traditionally said to benefit people with asthma. Alanya Aquapark is located nearby and attracts thousands of children each year.
