Avranlo Fortress

Avranlo Fortress, also known as Avranlos Cyclopean Fortification, was built in the Tsalka Municipality of the Kvemo Kartli region in southern Georgia. This megalithic structure was created using dry-stone wall technology and is located just half a kilometer northwest of the village of the same name, on the left bank of the Ktsia River, at an altitude of 1640 meters above sea level. The fortress dates back to the last quarter of the 1st millennium BC, making it one of the oldest structures in the region.
