Mount Samsari

Samsari is a high-mountain volcano in Georgia, located at the top of the Samsari Range. It is situated on the Akhalkalaki Plateau between Lake Tabatskuri and Lake Paravani in the Akhalkalaki Municipality of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. The border with Kvemo-Kartli runs east of the villages of Didi-Samsari and Patara-Samsari, and southwest of Mount Kyzyl-dag. The volcano's height is 3284.7 meters above sea level. According to the Treaty of Batum, signed in 1918, the border of the Ottoman Empire passed through the peaks of Shavnabad, Karakuzey, and Samsari.
