Tavkvetili Mountain

Tavkvetili Mountain, also known as Mta Tavkvetili, is a volcanic mountain in the Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions of Southern Georgia. Its elevation is 2583 meters above sea level, making it the 323rd highest mountain in the country. The mountain has a truncated cone shape and is composed of young andesite and andesite-dacite lavas. Subalpine meadows grow on the lower slopes of the mountain, while alpine meadows are found on the upper slopes. This place attracts tourists with its beauty and unique nature, offering opportunities for hiking and observing wild flora and fauna.
