Shaori Fortress

Shaori Fortress is an ancient megalithic structure that was built in the Bronze Age in the Akhalkalaki municipality in Georgia. This cyclopean fort was constructed using dry-stone walling techniques and features a unique layout consisting of rhomboid and circular spaces. It is situated on a rocky mountain at an altitude of 2752 meters above sea level in the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, northwest of Paravani Lake. Shaori Fortress is included in the list of Georgia's national cultural monuments and is an important historical site of the country.
