Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Church of Notre Dame de l'Assomption, also known as the French Church of Kadıköy, was built in a neoclassical style in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, Turkey, in 1865 by architect Giovanni Battista Barbini. This Catholic sanctuary serves not only the French community but also the Turkish community, so services are held in French, Turkish, and French-Turkish.
