Iron Church of St. Stephen

The Church of St. Stephen, also known as Sveti Stefan or the Bulgarian Church, is an Orthodox church dedicated to the First Martyr Stephen. It belongs to the Bulgarian community in Istanbul and is under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. Located on the shore of the Golden Horn, the church is entirely made of cast iron, making it one of the few churches made of this material in the world.
