Fethiye Mosque

The Church of the Virgin Mary Pammakaristos, also known as the "All-Blessed," was built as part of the Pammakaristos Monastery in Istanbul. This temple, also known as Fethiyé-jamí or the "Conquest Church," is one of the most significant monuments of Byzantine art preserved in the city from the Palaiologan era. Although the area of surviving mosaics in this church is smaller than in Hagia Sophia and the Chora Church, it still attracts attention with its beauty and historical significance. Unfortunately, after the restoration in 2022, all frescoes were destroyed or covered with plaster, and the museum no longer exists.
