Iskender Pasha Mosque

The Iskender Pasha Mosque, also known as Terkim Mescidi, is a historic building in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in the late 15th or early 16th century by Iskender Pasha, who was a vizier to Bayezid II. The mosque is located on Sariguzel Street in the Iskenderpasa neighborhood of Fatih. Its second name, "Terkim Masjid", comes from the Janissary barracks that were nearby. Iskender Pasha, who hailed from the village of Cakalli Vize, died in 1507, indicating that the mosque was erected around this time.
