Mount Maly Abuli

Maly Abuli is a volcanic mountain located in the Ninotsminda municipality, in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia. It is situated on the southern part of Samsra hill and its elevation above sea level is 2799 meters. The mountain is composed of Pliocene andesite-dacite lavas and has the shape of a volcanic cone. The lower slopes are covered with subalpine and alpine meadows, while the upper slope and ridge are covered with outliers. On the southern slope of Maly Abul, there is the cyclopean fortress of Abul, which adds mystery and historical significance to this place.
