Armenian Apostolic Church of Saint Etchmiadzin

The Nor Etchmiadzin Church, also known as Etchmiadzin Surp Gevorg Church or the Church of the Etchmiadzin Armenians, is a temple of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Tbilisi. It is located at 18 Armazska Street. According to legend, the church was founded by natives of Etchmiadzin, which led to its name - Nor Etchmiadzin, meaning "New Etchmiadzin".

All construction inscriptions in the temple date back to 1846. In 1837, the church had a small bell tower and no dome. Subsequently, it was completely reconstructed, and round sub-dome supports were added to the dome. The western entrance of the church (there are three in total) leads into a rectangular room protruding from the overall volume of the building.
