Tbilisi State Armenian Drama Theater named after P. Adamyan

The Tbilisi State Armenian Drama Theater named after P. Adamyan was founded in 1856 in Tiflis with the support of the Armenian community in Georgia. The theater attracted Armenian professional actors and continued its activities even during the Great Patriotic War. The theater staged over 60 performances, including K. Simonov's play "A Guy from Our Town," which were aimed at the patriotic education of the audience. Realism was the main style of all productions, reflecting real events and societal problems.
