Bodorna Rock Pillars

The Bodorna Rock Pillars, also known as Tsotsola Rock, are a unique natural formation in Georgia. This rock pillar, standing 15 meters high and 4 meters in diameter, is located near the village of Bodorna in the Dusheti Municipality, Mtskheta-Mtianeti. It is situated at an altitude of 813 meters above sea level and is distinguished by its unusual shape, resembling the figure of a Christian monk.

This natural monument is only 70-80 meters away from the S3 highway and 150-200 meters from the 17th-century Bodorna Church of the Holy Virgin Mary. A picturesque view of the Aragvi Valley opens up from the right bank of the river. Local residents consider this rock a natural tower and claim it has a connection to the Christian history of the region.
