Chifte Palace

The Cemile Sultan and Munire Sultan Palaces, also known as the "Salipazari Palaces," are two magnificent seaside buildings in the Findikli district of Istanbul. These palaces were built by architect Deka Amir Balyan by order of Sultan Abdulmejid between 1856 and 1859 specifically for his daughters. Currently, the buildings are used by Mimar Sinan University and are a popular destination for visiting and learning about the history of the Ottoman Empire.
