Church of the Virgin Mary of Manavi

The Church of the Virgin Mary of Manavi is a historical building in Georgia, located in the Kakheti region, in the Sagarejo municipality, north of the village of Manavi, on the mountainside. This church belongs to the kuppelhalle style, which is characteristic of this region. In 2006, on November 7, the President of Georgia granted it the status of a national immovable cultural monument, recognizing its historical and cultural value. The Church of the Virgin Mary in Manavi was built by Eftimi, the abbot of the David Gareji Baptist Monastery, as confirmed by an extensive construction inscription left on the building.
