Maalem Synagogue

The synagogue is located on the slopes with a beautiful view of the Golden Horn, next to a nursing home for Jews in the Hasköy district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is the only synagogue that has remained open in this area, which was once home to many Jews. The synagogue is open for visits only on weekdays, but Saturday services are held regularly, attracting believers and tourists from all over the world.
