Museum of Innocence

The Museum of Innocence (Turkish: Masumiyet Müzesi) was opened in 2012 in Istanbul by the renowned writer Orhan Pamuk. This museum is connected to Pamuk's novel of the same name, which tells a story of love and loss in modern Turkey. In 2014, the Museum of Innocence was recognized by the European Museum Forum of the Council of Europe as the best museum of the year in Europe.
