Pavnisi Church

The Pavnisi Church of St. George the Victorious is an ancient Georgian Orthodox church located in the Kaspi municipality in the central region of Georgia known as Shida Kartli. This hall church was built in the 9th-10th centuries and is one of the oldest churches in the region. The Pavnisi Church is famous for its unique frescoes, which were created in the second half of the 12th century and are a true work of art.
