Amilakhvari Castle

Amilakhvari Castle is a historical architectural monument located in the village of Kvemo Chala, in the Kaspi region of Georgia. This complex was built in the 17th-18th centuries and belonged to the noble Georgian family of Amilakhvari. Initially, there were three castles and various buildings here, but over time, only the main castle and parts of the other two have survived to this day.

The complex consists of three main parts: the main castle with towers, a church, a bell tower, and a palace; the second castle with towers and palace ruins; and the Amilkhori Amilindro castle and sauna. All these structures were built in the 17th-18th centuries and are an important historical heritage of Georgia.
