Surp Yergodasan Aragelots Church

Surp Yergodasan Aragelots Church (translated as Holy Jerusalem Church) is located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, Turkey. This Armenian church was built in 1846 and has undergone several restorations throughout its history. In 1893, it was renovated, then completely restored in 1962. In 1985, the church was renovated again, and most recently underwent restoration in 2012. This historic church is an important cultural and religious center for the Armenian community in Istanbul.
