Church of the Holy Cross

The church, located next to the Cinili police station, is a magnificent temple surrounded by Ekmekçibaşı, Selamsız Mektebi, and Kozanoğlu streets. The church has entrances on all three streets, but the door opening onto Ekmekçibaşı Street was added later. An inscription reads, "Armenian Church Surp Khach 1676" on the other two doors. There is a large plot of land on the corner of Gürümce Street, and a fountain with a large water basin stands on Selamsız Mektebi Street. Currently, a residential building is located on the church grounds. The church was originally built of wood by a priest named Balad Abraham in 1676.
