Vanikei Mosque

The Vanikei Mosque, also known as the Vanikei Mosque, was built in the 17th century and is located in the Vanikei neighborhood of the Decommunized Uskudar district in Istanbul. Vani Mehmet Efendi, who served as the imam of this mosque, was the son of Sultan Mehmed IV. During the reign of Mehmed Köprülüoğlu, he enjoyed the patronage of Fazıl Ahmed Pasha and was a renowned mufti and preacher in the ulema class of his time.
