Monument to Sergei Parajanov

The monument to Sergei Parajanov was erected in Tbilisi on Vatny Ryad Street in the old town in memory of the talented Soviet film director, who was a native of Tbilisi. This monument is one of the city's main attractions and was created for Parajanov's 80th birthday. Interestingly, the monument was made in Italy, which adds to its special uniqueness. The opening ceremony of the monument on November 6, 2004, was attended by representatives of the Georgian cultural elite, as well as guests from Armenia, Russia, and Ukraine, emphasizing the importance and significance of this event for world culture.
